Who are the hosts of Tamarindo Podcast?Tamarindo is hosted by Brenda Gonzalez and Delsy Sandoval. Brenda’s background is in nonprofit leadership development, strategic communications, and civic engagement. Delsy Sandoval is a Guatemalan-American licensed therapist, visual artist, and a passionate advocate for creativity. Brenda and Delsy both live in Los Angeles.
How did tamarindo get started?Brenda Gonzalez co-founded Tamarindo with Jeff Ricards and Luis Aguilar in 2016 to push against harmful narratives against Latinos. Since its inception, the podcast has approached serious issues that impact the Latino community, but always with a fun and informative approach to call listeners in.
What services do you offer?Tamarindo also hosts Encuentro, a leadership retreat for Latinas and nonbinary people seeking rest, renewal, and transformational coaching. Encuentro is a 4-night retreat including daily wellness activities, guided-tours, and empowering workshops in Puebla, Mexico.
